Our efforts of engagement include seeking to establish constructive dialogue with China. Our relationship with China will be consistent, responsible, and predictable, not only to the international community and to China, but most importantly, to the people of Taiwan.
Taiwan’s economy needs reform and a new development framework. We will work towards a public consensus on the objectives of economic development and what our model for future growth should look like.
Taiwan has actively engaged the world over the centuries. We seek to continue that process by reaching out to the world and advocating for Taiwan’s meaningful participation in global and regional organizations. We support Taiwan’s participation in the TPP and the RCEP.
